Founded in 2015 by Make-Up Artist of nearly 20 years Lynne Mills, Girl Meets Brush provides a professional Make-Up Brush & Palette Range, as well as a Supportive Online Community & Make-Up Academy for Aspiring Make-Up Artists.
The foundations came from Lynne’s experience as a Make-Up Artist herself & that there were too many Brushes/Brush Sets on the market that just weren’t focused enough, either too little or just way too much, making it either incomplete or too complicated. Also they tended to range on the poor quality side that simply didn’t last or were just far too expensive!
We also find most people will have those few core brushes they use over & over again - so with that in mind - introducing our signature/hero product the Pro 12 Piece Brush Set, giving you an all encompassing multi purpose product that will prove to be your ‘go to’ brush set & absolutely all you need.
The range has then expanded to include make-up palettes, all focused in the same way, to provide what is needed & also influenced by our Make-Up Artist Community & Customers.
Since 2028 Girl Meets Brush has been nurturing talent, providing a community & training via our online academy & also provide opportunity too.
As an example we run a Backstage Pro Team working during London Fashion Week each year. This is where we bring our Product Range as well as our Make-Up Community within our Academy together to create a unique experience.
Our initial philosophy was all about ‘making make-up simple’ for the every day woman & building a brand for Make-Up Artists to use with their clients.
Producing a product range that makes professional focused & accessible for everyone. It is a compact range, however it is one that provides a full spectrum in simple form with our Brush Sets & Palettes.
Our 12 Piece Pro Brush Set & Hero/Signature Product is designed by Lynne herself, for the working make-up artist to the every day woman - it consists of exactly what you need to apply any look (with out all the ‘fluff’ you don’t need!).
All the brushes are hand crafted & made to last, with luxe fibres designed to blend & apply make-up beautifully, they are also completely Cruelty Free & Vegan Friendly.
We have our Full Pro 12 Piece Set & our Brush Edit containing a Contour Set as well as Smokey Eye Set.
They are used by professionals through out the country & also by our pro team for photo shoots, to backstage at London Fashion Week - a professional product made accessible!
The latest addition to the Range are our Make-Up Palettes, also designed by Lynne (except our collabs), these are all of pro standard, highly pigmented & easy to blend, for both professionals and non-professionals alike.
As with our Brushes all Palettes are Cruelty Free & Vegan Friendly.
Our Eyeshadow Palette Range consists of Four Palettes (Natural, Warm Tone, The Pro Palette & Fierce Glam).
The latest additions to our Range is our Palette Collaborations, this is again one of our Opportunities within our MUA Community & they are designed alongside our MUAs.

Both these fabulous make-up artists have achieved incredible success within the careers since joining Girl Meets Brush, it was only fitting that they formed our initial collaborations.
We also have Two Face Palette options - Contour Kit & Blush Bronze. The Contour Kit has a combination of highly pigmented powders that are finely milled to give a soft but defined contour effect, it also contains soft shimmer tones that give a subtle to bold highlight.
Our Blush Glow Palette has four shades, a deep pink that can softly blend out to a warm neutral peach tone. Then a warm deep golden peach & golden highlighter. All the tones throughout our Palettes work across a range of skin tones.
We also have accessories available, from Make-Up Bags to Beauty Blenders, with the range evolving constantly with the needs of our customers.
In 2018 we launched Girl Meets Brush | theACADEMY, headed up by Founder Lynne Mills, this Online Academy offers a high standard of flexible Online Professional Make-up Training.
